Trophy and Emily

Last week I attended a Chess competition
and this week I received a trophy,
for Lightning Chess (fast Chess)...

On Saturday I went to the RSPCA
and fell in love with a jack russell terrier dog  named
" Emily".  We all loved her so much that we
adopted her. But she only comes home on Tuesday because
she needs to be desexed, have her teeth clean and her nails
trimmed.
We have purchased her lots of toys, comfy beds and treats...
Can't wait !!!

Do you think she's cute?

I hope Noddy doesn't mind....

More about Emily and Noddy next time!!!!

Lego

Have you ever had a feeling that you just
needed to build something?
I have....
Thats why I decided to build a Lego mansion,
a Lego plane and Lego Cars...

My Lego masion took me 1 day and a
 bit to make.

But the Car and the Garage took me 1 hour.

\

The plane and The bagage Coach are
 probably my favourite.

What is yours?

This house was made for Nick and Jake.
(Nick is on the left)

Jake is on the Right...

This is the Captain..Who flys the plane.

 "Hi Bart"

And this is Ken, the owner of the mansion.

Which character do you like the best?

Chess and a Gift

I have been attending, a chess tournament
in Victoria, Australia. It ends this Sunday.
There were 11 rounds of Lightning chess (Fast chess),
Problem Solving and then 11 rounds of normal chess.

I got a T-shirt, because I signed up early.

The back of the T-shirt has all the names
of the competitors, who signed up early and are participating
in the championship.
And now a BIG thank you to one of the followers of my blog
 Jan Maree

for the generous gift I received in the mail today.

Its a set of paper dolls designed by Mary Engelbreit.

They are really pretty.
There is also a  calendar, which allows me to dress
paper dolls  and then stick them on the
calendar.

And some extra dolls to play.

Each doll has many outfits.

Even Noddy loves my gift !

Thanks Jan Maree!!

The house I built

For the past few weeks, I have been collecting toilet rolls.

At first I was going to glue them together and make a
marble track, but as I went inside to see if I could find some
glue, I saw the tiny dolls I made. And that's why I decided
to make a house.

I painted the house red, blue and green instead of boring
brown.

The roof is covered in paddlepop sticks, from
all the ice creams I've been eating!

Noddy spent most of the day watch me work
on the house. Very exhausting...

One thing about me is that I love making things
like cubby houses, pin cushions, dolls, bug homes, but latley I have been
making books.

This book is called: Haunted House

It's about a family that moves into a
house thats is haunted by a Ghost.
At the end the children capture the Ghost.

This book is the Sequel of : Hauted House
But it's called: Haunted House 2, Ghost's revenge!
Its where the evil monsters of the house attack.
The children must find a way to stop them...

This is Noddy about to fall asleep...

I'm starting...

I would like to introduce you to Noddy.

He's about 18 months old and is 98cm long when he stretches out.
Noddy likes chasing anything that moves and hidding  in strange spots.

Guess what?   He sleeps in a pram!
